A Coastal North Carolina Study

Memory, held like light.

Nostalgic, fine-art portraits of the outdoor life you're already living — on the street, in the ocean, out on the lake.

What We Shoot

Three studies, one coastline.

How Booking Works

Curatorial notes.

No forms to chase, nothing to remember at the last minute — here's exactly what happens once you reach out.

I

Say hey

Send a message and tell me what you're picturing — an occasion, a place, a feeling. That's plenty to start with.

II

Let's talk

We'll chat back and forth, or hop on a call. I'll share more about how I shoot, what a session actually feels like, and send over real samples so you know exactly what you're getting.

III

Reserve your spot

Once you're ready, I'll set you up with your own client portal — just your email and a rough timeline to start. It holds your questionnaire and lets you pay securely online, so nothing's left to remember last-minute.

IV

Trade inspiration

From there, we go back and forth — photos, ideas, little details — until the vision for your session feels fully yours.

V

Session day

You'll meet the team on location, and it feels less like a shoot and more like hanging out with friends who happen to be really good with cameras.

Archival prints.

Your images don't have to live on a screen. Every session can be printed as a fine-art keepsake — quoted individually so the size and material fit the image.

Before Your Session

A few wardrobe notes.

Nothing strict — just what tends to photograph beautifully in natural, golden light.

Vibe & wardrobe assist

Where are we shooting?
What's the vibe?

Pick a location and a mood above to see your personalized wardrobe notes.

Lean Into

  • Muted, earthy tones — sand, rust, sage, denim, cream
  • Natural textures: linen, cotton, worn leather, canvas
  • Soft layers you can add or remove between locations
  • Pieces that feel like you on an ordinary good day

Keep In Mind

  • Bright neons and busy logos tend to pull focus from the moment
  • Bring a light jacket or cover-up for wind on the water
  • Coordinating with others is great — matching exactly isn't necessary
  • Pack shoes you can walk the dock or shoreline in comfortably
Good To Know

A few questions, answered.

What happens if it rains or the weather turns?
We reschedule at no extra cost. Coastal weather is unpredictable, and I'd rather move your date than shoot a session you won't love.
How and when do I receive my images?
Through your private online gallery, ready in 1–2 weeks. You can view, download, and share straight from there.
Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable, but it goes toward your total and secures your date on the calendar.
Can I order prints later, even after my gallery is delivered?
Always. Just reach out anytime with the image you'd like printed and I'll send over a quote for size and material.
Who else is on set during a session?
Depending on the shoot, I work alongside a certified small engine mechanic who handles machinery safety on anything involving bikes, jet skis, or motors, and a creative assistant who shoots behind-the-scenes video and helps with creative direction — especially useful for male sessions that benefit from an extra hand shaping the vibe on the fly.
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes — I love getting out to our lakes, our coasts, our mountains, and everywhere in between. Travel outside my usual area is available for a travel fee based on distance; just tell me where you're picturing and I'll quote it out.
Do I get anything before the full gallery is ready?
Yes — a sneak peek is delivered within 24–48 hours of your session, and shared on social media so you get a first look right away while the rest of the gallery is being edited.
